This tatted piece is based on Praeludium in c Minor BWV 549 by J. S. Bach. I enjoy playing this piece on the organ. The prelude begins with a snappy pedal solo reflected in the fugue subject. I chose to represent that portion of the music in the triplets of rings; the darker sets are the fugue subjects, the lighter sets are the prelude motifs. Bach creates wonderful melodic lines that hold everything together harmonically. These I represented with the chains. The outer chains in grey thread corral the piece while the inner chains in multicolored thread represent the flourish at the end of the Fugue.
